Tour of Quayside Court
We moved into Quayside Court in September 2002, it is the best move
we have ever made and love it here in Weymouth. We have got the apartment
just how we want now, the rooms are of a reasonable size and we look
out onto the Marina with the sun setting into our windows. It only
takes three or four minutes to walk to the Esplanade (seafront).
The Marina is using the River Wey with hundreds of all types of boats,
as well as Trawlers. Fishing boats moor against the quay which is
no more than fifty feet away from our door. There is always plenty of
action going on and one never gets bored watching it.
Weymouth is a very loverble town with lots of little "moochable" streets
and two main high streets. The old town is set between the River Wey
and the Sea, it has a very picturesque Harbour and many hotels and lots of
very good restaunts & pubs. The seafront has a long expance of sand,
(running for about two miles),the main beach has all soughts of
entertainment & food challeys all painted in old humbug style, the
whole town is kept in very good condition.
There is plenty of action going on in the town throughout the
year and something organised for every week during the season.
